Jones Funeral Home has been serving the people of Crossett and surrounding communities for generations since its establishment in 1927. Currently, the funeral home is owned by Richard S. Jones III, who continues the family commitment to holding the highest standard of service offered to all families - with dignity, distinction, and respect. History of Jones Funeral Home In 1927, the funeral home was established in Hamburg by Murphy Jones. Following in his father's footsteps, Richard S. Jones, Sr. established Jones Funeral Home and Jones Flower Shop in 1941. He and his son, Richard S. Jones, Jr., continued to serve the people of Ashley County until their deaths in 1977 and 1988 respectively. Today the funeral home and flower shop are operated by Richard S. Jones III, son of Richard S. Jones, Jr. For four generations, the Jones family has based its reputation on true concern. Jones Service will continue the tradition that began over 79 years ago - Service with Dignity, Distinction, and Respect. |
